Pizzera & Jaus | Comedian Rhapsody with Robe

On their third tour, the music cabaret duo Pizzera & Jaus presents a rock’n’roll show—unexpected in this genre—perfectly illuminated by Robe. The successful Austropop artists commissioned Andreas Fink (Light The Sign), one of Austria’s best-known lighting designers, not only to create the lighting but also the stage design for the tour. As with their previous tour, Fink relied heavily on Robe fixtures such as the Megapointe, Tarrantula, Spiider, LedBeam 150, Forte, and Tetra2.

“The Tarrantula is the weapon! The brightness and FX capabilities via pixels, patterns, and backgrounds are a creative marvel,” raves lighting designer Fink. “The Spiiders moved from the back truss to the side lighting and are the perfect complement in the roof area.” Furthermore, Fink chose Robe Forte, convinced by its high brightness, perfect colors, and great feature set. The Robe Tetra2 was used because of its center-effect capability in the Tarrantulas, Spiiders, and bars. Additionally, the choice fell on the Robe MegaPointe, which is unique simply due to its size and the design possibilities it offers.

The dry hire partner was CGS, with Signal Sound & Light taking over distribution as Robe’s Austrian partner. The sound was provided by Martin Mayer (Schalltrichter Veranstaltungstechnik), who was also in charge of FOH.
